Accomplice is a person who participates in the crime along with those who actually commit the crime. He shall be interested in committing the crime achieving its purpose. The evidence of the accomplice cannot be relied upon unless it is corroborated in all the material particulars by other independent evidence. The evidence of the accomplice cannot be corroborated by the evidence of another accomplice.
The evidence of the accomplice is tainted because it is that of a betrayer.
